Our Walk Is Our Prayer

Our product is not what you can purchase, but the ethos behind it. This ethos is translated through many vehicles we use to impact this world positively. We understand that the future of our existence depends on us reconnecting to the ancestral wisdom of this earth, and listening to the guardians of its forests who still speak her language.

Responsibility

We look at our brand as more of a vehicle - One without wheels or windows. Àsë is a vehicle for positive impact , more than anything else. It allows us to do our part and spread awareness on a larger scale. Our focus as a company, when it’s all said and done is to leave a legacy our earth is thankful for. So what does that look like? Finally! A conversation we our excited about. If you haven’t already, now is a perfect time to make an Àsë. While you do that, please allow us to dive into who we are, how we got here, and the path of our vision.

We live in an age of constant extraction, pollution, and disconnect. Most people of the earth have forgotten that is exactly what they are - EARTH. Molecules of our mother. Whose fate is directly connected to this physical reality while we are here. Due to this amnesiac state, we continuously consume her life force (mostly without permission) through our decisions, whether directly or indirectly. The lifetime of this way of being is reaching its expiration date. There is a quote we like that says “Evolution only ever happens at the precipice of extinction.” Since we are there we are hoping the world will embrace this evolution with us, and live a life of legacy.

Reality

Understanding the state of this reality, we decided to design every detail of Àsë with uncompromising purpose. Every single ingredient in our alchemy (there are many lol) is sourced not only through people we know, but people who have also passed our measure of integrity. Where and how we get things is IMPORTANT. Everything has an energy signature, and it is our belief that we are responsible to do our due diligence to make sure the signature of the things we bring to you doesn’t carry any debt. Especially when formulating things with the power to heal. From here we even took it a step further, and asked ourselves - what are we doing to positively impact our supply chain in a way that allows the Earth to thrive? We wish to receive each ingredient with her permission and reciprocity. That our community can truly experience the difference of this effort and that its electric.

Truth

One truth we hold is that there is no preservation of this earth without the protection of its indigenous guardians, and the honoring of their customs and cultures. This is our ground zero. Many of our ingredients and purposed projects support alliances with different indigenous peoples of the earth ( find out more below) supporting land reacquisition, biodynamic permaculture principles, and cultural preservation through music and art. We are deeply honored with these alliances, and have nothing but gratitude for the privilege to learn from those who walk to the rhythm we must hope to regain.

If you have gotten this far in the page then this truly must align with your spirit as it does with ours. Currently we are involved in several projects, please take a look.

Also we love communal effort, and feedback. If any of these projects feels like something that was designed for you to be a part of, then by all means - Let Us Know! We are all about radical inclusion (noticing any themes?) and understand that true impact takes synergy.

  • Lessons In Legacy, Regenerative School Farms Programs. (South Central Los Angeles, Topanga, Santa Monica- California)

We are huge advocates of planting the planet. This is why we have aligned with our friends at No Res Gourmet. This organization focuses on creating food sovereignty through community service. One of the ways they do this is true legacy programs that teach children, the full soil to soul intelligence of a seed. The planting, harvesting, and preparation of food medicine. They are currently working with multiple different school systems aiding with the development of Permaculture programs, and indoctrination of a regenerative curriculum.

We are partnered with Ankhkasta Natural Healing and The Earth Center, and believe deeply in their teachings and works. This includes supporting the indigenous stewards in preserving and protecting their lands, traditions, families and customs as well as healing plants and sacred sites.
